The iOS App vs. the Android App
Both versions connect to the same Xtream Codes API and support the same channel lists, but Apple's background-execution rules mean the iOS app behaves differently when minimized. Live streams pause when you switch apps or lock your phone, whereas some Android builds can continue audio playback in the background. This is a platform limitation, not a bug in your subscription.
Step 1: Download From the App Store
- Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
- Search for IPTV Smarters Player (the official iOS listing uses "Player" rather than "Pro" in its App Store name).
- Confirm the developer is WHMCS Smarters before installing — several unrelated clone apps use similar icons.

Step 2: Log In and Enable AirPlay
- Open the app and select Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Enter any label in Any Name, then your Username, Password, and Server URL exactly as supplied by your provider.
- Tap Add User and wait for the channel list to sync.
- To cast to an Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible television, swipe down from the top-right corner to open Control Center, tap the Screen Mirroring icon, and select your Apple TV while a channel is playing.
